What kind of practical shooting competition is the glock 17 and Walther P99 in the fall?
I want to get into practical shooting. It has no Semi-automatic pistols I'm more interested in a G17 or P99 (9mm). I want my new weapon for the defense of being home and competition, please tell me what kind of fall under these two weapons. If you have any other suggestions for guns that would be good for defense / carry / competition, Let me know! Thanks for your time.
The Walter P99 glock 17 and both are listed on the List USPSA production gun for use in adjustment operations in the production division. The Glock 17, 19 and 34, all are inscribed on the List of production gun. The Glock 34 is designed for competition and can easily be used for defense, but the longer barrel would make it more difficult to hide. If you have no problem hiding the Glock 17, go with that model.
